Devi Brahmacharini Mantra - Day 2

The unmarried form of Goddess Parvati is worshipped as Goddess Brahmacharini, who did severe penance to get Lord Shiva as her husband. She performed hard austerity and due to which she was called Brahmacharini, Aparna and Uma. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Mangal, is governed by Goddess Brahmacharini. Hence, devotees worship Goddess Brahmacharini on the second day of Navratri to get wisdom and knowledge. Her puja gives good fortune and removes all the obstacles from once life.

Maa Brahmacharini governs the Swadhisthana Chakra and upon awakening of the same the mind of the seeker moving upward, establishes in this Chakra. This 2nd chakra helps in maintaining the devotion and dedication in a steady manner.

Composed in 2nd chakra sound frequency on Raag Todi which helps ease down hypertension and stress, according to Ragachikitsa Music Therapy.
